Our website pinged alerting us a customer had a question about a home. The person only provided an email as contact information. I promptly sent an email asking her to give me a call. She text me. Through our text exchange it was explained she and her husband were both at work and texting would be the best way to communicate. And honestly (and surprisingly) texting works great a great deal of the time. She text there was a house they would really like to see. I asked if she was pre-approved with a lender. She said no. I provided them the names of three lenders I trust because they are amazing mortgage brokers and bonus, they are good people. She connected with one of the lenders. They were quickly pre-approved. We scheduled a time for them to tour the house when their work day ended. As we were looking at the house they shared they had reached out to several Realtors and we were the only one to respond. YAY for us because these people were a joy to work with. They also told a bit of their story how they were offered a terrific jobs which required them to relocate. They made the huge decision to go-for-it and sell most everything and begin a new life here along the west coast of Florida. They also mentioned they were renting a teeny tiny apartment and finding a home was a top priority. The house we were touring checked their criteria boxes plus the community was small and convenient for their drive to work.  They made an offer on the house, but their offer was beat out in a multiple offer situation. We scheduled another day to look at a few more houses. Nothing was just right. But, wait!! A house in the same sweet community came back on the market! Plus, it was being sold beautifully furnished (woo-hoo they won’t need to buy furniture!). And it was listed for a lower price! They made an offer! Offer accepted! Thirty days later they were in their new home! What a jolly good day when they said Yes to the address!
